Inner Connection

The world today is embroiled in being constantly connected. How fast and clear is my internet connection? How easily am I able to stay connected?

But what about my inner-connectivity – How well am I set up to connect with myself?

Whilst surfing the net I inadvertently take action to block the annoying pop-up’s as they appear to disturb me.

Do I surf my inner world with ease, without interference? Or is it hampered by pop-up’s in the form of memories of the past, fears for the future, disheartenment of present world conditions and the virus of negative and harmful thoughts?

Rather than block my inner pop-up’s let me allow them to surface, acknowledge them, assess them, take some learning from them before then let go – this will dis-empower them.

The quality of my inner connectivity will then transform and allowing me to hold that inner connection whenever I want, however I want, wherever I want.

Check – how is my inner-connectivity now?

Why Hurt?

mistakes

Someone said something, someone did, or did not, do something and I am hurt by that. No matter how much I wish to stay in a positive and happy place, it seems as though others influence and change that. They continue to hurt me and cause me pain and sorrow.

However the fact is that I have no control over anything or anyone except myself. When I deeply and practically learn to accept this in my life then I will realise that no one can ever hurt me. People can behave as they wish to but it is what I do with someone’s negative behaviour – the shape and power I give that negativity inside my mind – that will decide if it causes me to hurt or not.

It is not an easy lesson to accept but the reality is that how I choose to respond is entirely in my hands. .

Let me empower the self by applying this lesson practically in my life from this moment onwards. Let me chose to remain happy.

The Spiritual Wave

home

Our atmosphere is full of invisible waves of energy. We may be aware of the natural forms of energy like light and sound. There are also energy waves emitted from technology – computers, mobiles, microwave etc. And then of course the energy waves we generate with our thoughts and feelings.

If we move through the highways and byways of these waves we will find more subtle spiritual waves of energy that take us beyond the physical world and into a world of pure, powerful spiritual energy. An energy that is empowering, fulfilling and satisfying.

Once we are aware of this energy force, it takes only a second to take the journey and connect with it. The challenge is to navigate the mind through an atmosphere that is congested with other miscellaneous energy waves, align with the spiritual wave and stabilise long enough to absorb that energy. With regular practice there is no doubt this can be achieved.

Let me start my practice now.

I invite my mind to take a journey. Like a loving child, it quietens down – eager to start the journey. With concentrated focus, I visualise my destination….a world of pure energy. My mind cooperates and I move away from all distractions and congestion of the physical atmosphere, and I slowly move into the spiritual realm of pure spiritual energy. I find myself surfing on spiritual waves, absorbing that energy. This is the spiritual realm, my spiritual home, nirvana.

Guilty!

guiltyWe often see or hear things that colour our vision of and beliefs about people.

Even if we are unaware of the circumstances, instead of seeing them as ‘innocent until proven guilty’ we automatically feel they must be guilty because our thoughts, feelings, word and actions are influenced by a belief already imprinted in our subconscious. So the way we see, hear or think about someone is coloured by that impression.

Whether they are guilty or not will make no real difference to me as a person. However this habit of holding on to negative impressions about people makes us the ones who support and empower those negative traits within our own personality. If I dislike someone then I am the one that experiences the negative feelings of ‘dislike’ within myself. We become the ones that experience the negative emotions and feelings that they generate.

So who is ‘guilty’ and who is paying the price?

The Courage to Love

Pure Love is a virtue as well as a power. When both are applied at the same time then that is love in its purest form.

To be able to use love when faced with challenging situations requires a lot of courage and faith in love itself. It requires spiritual power.

As well as courage a big heart is also needed so that I am able to stop feelings of dislike or even hatred. I hurt myself by having any negative feelings before I hurt anyone else. I need to be aware of this and become my own true friend.

To be able to always give love means that there must first be love within the self for the self. It is not possible to give love, in its purest form, without first having love for the self.

Love fulfils, gives self-respect and empowers the soul. The soul is then no-longer dependent for love or respect from anywhere else. It becomes free from dependence and free to love.

Have the courage to love.
