Peace, Silence and Power

Peace of mind begins when there is no waste or negativity within my thinking. It is then that the incognito battle within the mind stops. Thoughts slow down and become few and I experience peace within my mind.

If I allow anything to come and disturb this state of thinking then I myself am responsible for the peacelessness that arises. Peace or peacelessness are a state of mind. Peace cannot be kept by force, it can only be achieved through understanding.

From peace I consciously take a step into silence. I connect with the feelings and vibrations around me and within me. This opens the door to experience the subtlety of my authentic self.

Within the experience of self, the power of spirit emerges. A spiritual strength which gives a sense of contentment and completeness. Of having reached my destination.

Law of Attraction

Thought power is one of the most beneficial creative powers we possess.

Like seeds, if we feed and nourish them with the right attention, they will have a natural tendency to grow and manifest positivity in our life. Our behaviour and attitude, actions and reactions are shaped by the thoughts we cultivate.

Moreover, our thoughts generate energy in the form of subtle vibrations. These vibrations become like a magnetic field reaching out to and attracting similar thought vibrations.

By consciously choosing the right quality of thoughts, accompanied by powerful visualisation, over time, we can train our mind to harness thoughts that will attract more and more goodness and positivity into our lives. This is the law of attraction.

As we think so we become. Our destiny is in our thoughts.

The Sponge

A sponge easily and quickly absorbs any spillages, it doesn’t matter what it is, it just does its job.

When I begin to examine my response to life then I will see that I often behave like a sponge. I allow the things happening around me to penetrate me and then influence me.

The vibrations, atmosphere and noise in the world all go in, we naturally absorb them. Others are letting out steam as a result of what is going on in their own lives. I can listen and help to the best of my ability, but the moment I start to absorb I become trapped in whatever is going on and then am no-longer in a position to help, to add value.

There is also a lot of goodness around, especially in terms of vibrations within nature, which gives me the chance to sit and absorb God’s love and power.

At every moment I have a choice. I can choose to absorb or remain detached.

What am I absorbing into the self? What do I let in and hold on to?

Om Shanti
